He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Comstock and Harriet Comstock; his significant other Ann Wasserman; his close friend Ann Wasserman; his children, Melissa Alexander of Manassas, Virginia, Vivian Hejnal (Richard) of Lake City, Terri Davis (Reginald) of Andalusia, Alabama and Chuck Godwin of Pace, Florida; his siblings, Bill Comstock of Castleton, Linda Downey (Paul) of Castleton and Barbara Miner of Midwest City, Oklahoma; and his son John Comstock, Jr.. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
