He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Smith and Mae Smith; and his daughter Christi Smith. He is survived by: his wife Betty Smith; his daughter Charlotte Spurlin (Bill); his son-in-law Cyndee Smith; his grandchildren, Belle Elmore (Colton) and Brynne Brooks (Dawson); his great grandchild Kathryn Brooks; and his sisters-in-law, Burnette Smith and Carolyn Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
