It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mike Vines of Andalusia, Alabama, who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Kilpatrick Vines and Freddie Morgan Vines; and his brothers, Morgan Vines, Ernie Vines and Daniel Vines.
He is survived by: his daughter Lynn; his son-in-law Matthew Scroggins; his grandsons, John Scroggins and James Scroggins; and his sisters, Dorothy G. Hester and Wanda Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel (1018 Florala Hwy, Opp, AL 36467). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at the Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens (Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens, AL-52, Opp, AL 36467).
