He was predeceased by: his parents, George Albert Chastain and Myrtle Odell Chastain; his siblings, George Chastain, Jr., Charles Chastain and Janice Chastain; and his son Norman Chastain, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Chastain; his children, Kimberly Sands (Terry) and Chris Chastain; his sister Ruth Ann Roach; his grandchildren, Crystal Grammer, Jennifer Sands, Heather Helms (Denson), Lacy Stillwell (Cody), Leah Dugan (Tom), Shayna Ray (Ricky), Ezekiel Chastain and Dakota Chastain; and his great grandchildren, Heath Helms, Denson Helms, Cooper Stillwell, Camilla Stillwell, Aubrey Hancock, Reed Ray and Alayna Ray. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harmony Baptist Church (20932 Co Rd 70, Andalusia, AL 36421). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Norman Chastain Bible Study Memorial Fund.
