He is survived by: his wife Sue Sowell; his sons, Shannon Roos, Justin Roos and Adam "Roho" Sowell (Yvonne); his grandchildren, Kayla Yates (Joey), Elizabeth Mitchell, Cameron Roos (Emma), Hunter King and John David Sowell; his great grandchildren, Taylen Grooms, Jantzen Yates, Eleanor Marie Roos and Annie Roos Yates; his brother Larry Sowell (Linda); and his nephew Jeffrey Sowell (Karen).
