He was predeceased by: his mother Icey; and his sisters, Evelyn Sasser and Mildred Bass. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Newton of Andalusia; his children, Vickie Ptomey (Joe) of Andalusia, Jerry Newton of Andalusia and Terry Newton (Tina Morgan) of Andalusia; his grandsons, Josh Newton of Andalusia and Gary Newton (Jonne) of Red Level; and his great grandchildren, Alex Newton, Brayden Newton, Wyatt Newton, Mason Newton and Jaxson Newton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials to Covenant Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Franklin Roosevelt Newton.
