We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2025, at the age of 98, Albert Hulon Newton of Anderson, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas and Mary Frances Newton; his wife Oscarene Hammond Newton; his siblings, Willard, Royce, Hubert, Jessie Harlan, Cleo Fulks, Effie Fulks, Erma Newton, Edna Shook, Dura Mackey and Verna Morrison; and his great grandchild Amelia Gail Owens.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vickie Robbins (Phillip), Shelia Johnson (Mark) and Amie Embry (John); his grandchildren, Micah Embry (Courtney), Brant Johnson (Alisha), Melia Owens (Whitney) and Cole Robbins (Adam McCabe); his great grandchildren, Addi Embry, Lexi Embry, Emma Kate Johnson, Molly Ann Johnson, Brady Owens and Asher Owens; and his caregivers, Janie Jones and Tammy Nelson.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials may be made to the Amelia Gail Owens Scholarship Fund at Lauderdale County High School, 201 Cedar St., Rogersville, AL 35652.
