She was predeceased by: her husband William Samuel Turpen (Bill) of Bonnertown, TN; her parents, Onus Alexander and Emily Belle Sinyard Hammond; and her brothers, James Alexander and Henry Leroy Hammond.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Tolliver (Mike); her grandson Matthew Tolliver (Melissa); and her great grandchildren, Sutton Marie, Celine June Tolliver, Samantha Francene (Sammie) and Silky. She is also survived by Terrier and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rogersville Funeral Home (18275 US-72, Rogersville, AL 35652). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the Grassy Memorial Cemetery.
