He was predeceased by : his parents, Lavender Eugene and Annie C. Ray Roden; and his brother Lowell Roden. He is survived by : his wife Linda Stokes; his son Patrick Roden (Ashton); and his grandsons, Sam and Patrick Roden.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Loretto Memorial Chapel (110 N Military St, Loretto, TN 38469). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
