He is survived by: his wife Viola Hedden; his children, Jonathon Hedden (Kimberly), Steven Andrew Hedden (Samatha), Valarie Thornton Nicole (Jay) and Sonia Kirkpatrick; and his siblings, Sammy Hedden and Sharon Hunt (Bobby). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
