It is with sadness that the passing of Barbara Dolores Owen Huckaby (Anniston, Alabama) is shared. Barbara, born on March 7, 1939 in Oxford, Alabama, passed away on July 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyce Owen and Evelyn Owen; and her husband Chester Gay Huckaby. She is survived by: her children, Denise Medders (Alan), Donna Huckaby Shaw (Rickie) and Daniel Owen Huckaby; her grandchildren, Alison Duncan (Dustin), Andrea Hutchings (Philip), Kelsey Perry (Jody), Patrick Shaw (Lindsey), Maggie Carlile (Macain), Morgan Huckaby and Contris (Cole); her great grandchildren, Adelyn Duncan, Miller Hutchings, Jett Perry, Ace Perry, Caroline Shaw and Mary Murphy Carlile; and her siblings, Gerald Owen (Debbie) and Sharon Owen. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
