He was predeceased by: his parents, B. G. Segrest and Amma Kate Segrest; and his brothers, Ken Segrest and Randy Segrest. He is survived by: his wife Joy; his son Brian Segrest (Keitha) of Anniston; his granddaughters, Allie Segrest Montgomery (Will) of Oxford and Rylee Segrest Baxter (Tyler) of Enterprise; his great grandchildren, William Allinder Montgomery, Cooper Brooks Baxter and Collins Avery Baxter; his sister Cindy Peacock (David) of Gardendale; his sister-in-law Diane Segrest Dulaney of Lincoln; his sibling's children, Mandie Segrest Sewigu and Chris Segrest; his great-niece Freya Nicole; and his great-nephew Houston Lynn Tyr.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
