He is survived by: his wife Mary Ackles; his children, Brittany Ackles, India Ackles (Jeremy Johnson) and Shaquill Ackles; his grandchildren, Donna Stallworth, Demarriona Stallworth, Dezmeir Wallace, Audrey Johnson and Gianna Johnson; and his siblings, Shunda Williams, Brenda Brown (James), Sheila Ackles, Kimberly Wood, Gary Ackles and Steve Ackles. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Anniston Funeral Service Russell H. Williams Memorial Chapel (630 S Wilmer Ave, Anniston, AL 36201).
