He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Goodwin and Patsy Goodwin; and his siblings, Bimbo, Marty, Trisha and Sue.

He is survived by: his daughters, Yolanda and Amber; and his niece Tracia. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
