We bid farewell to Dale Boyd Whitley of Anniston, Alabama, born in Muscadine, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 18, 2025 at the age of 85. Dale Boyd touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Whitley and Elma Whitley; his daughter Jennifer Whitley Pope; and his siblings, LaNelle Whitley Willingham and Lee O'Neal Whitley.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Wade Whitley; his daughters, Kelly Whitley Williams (Brad) and Gwen Whitley Patton; his son-in-law Quincy Pope (Meri); his grandchildren, Quinton Pope, Rachel Whitley Brown (Trey), Aubrey Pope Campbell (Dillon), Macie Ruth Williams, Bryce Patton, Karis Patton and Austin Sutherlin; his siblings, Anita Whitley Hedgepath (Kenneth), Charles Whitley (Gloria), Roy Whitley (Shelba) and Ken Whitley; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Wade. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Alabama Baptist Children's Home and Family Ministries.
