She was predeceased by: her parents, Linda Coley Carwile and Herman Young; her sister Dixie Young Presley; her son-in-law Patrick Dean Miller; and her brother-in-law Steve Palmer.
She is survived by: her children, Shelley Blue Miller and Chris Bates (Ashley); her grandchildren, Ashlyn Miller Rone (Dalton), Wesley Miller (Cloie), Boden Bates, Tanner Bates, Warren Bates and Spencer Atwood; her great grandchild Havyn Lynn Rone; her siblings, Cindy Young Palmer, Jim Carwile, Jake Young and Matthew Young; her nephew Jared Palmer (Miranda); and her great-nephews, Jackson and Jameson Palmer. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (50 Hamric Dr E, Oxford, AL 36203). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at the Dogwood Trail Memorial Gardens (Oxford, AL).
