She was predeceased by: her husband Nelson; her son Billy Nelson; her grandson Matthew Nelson; and her siblings, Buford Wallace and Lois Farr.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Nelson, Wayne Nelson (Julie) and Michael Nelson (Sonia); her grandchildren, Lesley Looney, Amber Abdalla (Tarek), Dylan Looney (Kali) and Cameron Anders (Caleb); her great grandchildren, Dixie Nelson, Bentley Nelson, Okleigh Nelson and Charleigh Nelson; and her pet Sassy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hokes Bluff Funeral Home (1901 Piedmont Cutoff, Gadsden, AL 35905). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Hope Cemetery (816 New Hope Church Rd, Gadsden, AL 35905).
