She is survived by: her daughter Shawn Harkrider; her husband Preston Insley; her son-in-law Don Harkrider of Georgia; and her stepsons, Alex, David Insley of Chicago and Geoff Insley of Los Angeles.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the K. L. Brown Memory Chapel (620 Golden Springs Rd, Anniston, AL 36207). A burial was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at 730 Golden Springs Rd, Anniston, AL 36207.
