She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lawson Fulton and Ruby Love Fulton. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Clifford Lee New; her daughter Robin Pereira; her siblings, Jerry Harper Godwin, Mary Smith, Bobby Fulton and Billy Wayne Fulton; her sons, Stephen New and Paul New (Kim); her grandchildren, Benjamin New, Chris New, Rebecca Pereira, Jonathan Pereira, Nicholas New, Nathan New and Noah New; her great grandchildren, Jason New and Aiden New; her sister Linda Phillips; and her son-in-law Florivaldo Pereira. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
During the COVID pandemic, she moved to Chattanooga to be closer to her family and resided there until God called her home.
