He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Key and Nell Key; his father-in-law Edward L. Burks; his brother-in-law Glen C. Burks; and his nephew Damon Hamilton.
He is survived by: his wife Judith F. Key; his daughter Ginger Key Chandler (Shane); his granddaughter Amanda Chandler Arnold (Wesley); his great grandchildren, Chandler, Elliott, Barnes and Morgan; his sister Diane Key; his niece Kimberly Williamson (Ken Keller); his mother-in-law Lucille Burks; and his sisters-in-law, Alice Pointer Geer (John) and Anita Elliott (Jerry Patrick).
