It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Garner of Anniston, Alabama, who passed away on September 14, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, James Garner and Myrtice Jackson. He is survived by : his wife Christine; his sons, James Edward Garner and Christopher Garner; his niece Peggy Steadman; his friends, Elizabeth and Lisa Smoot; and also James Garner. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 23rd 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors (2502 Richmond Hill Rd, Augusta, GA 30906). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 23rd 2023 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
