He is survived by: his children, Leah of Oxford, Sherry Stewart of Demopolis, Michael, William of Blount County and Justin Donovan (Jamie) of Oxford; and his siblings, Charles (Judy) of Anniston, Thomas (Ethel) of Hendersonville Tennessee, Robert (Debbie) of Oxford, Marie (Herb) of Oneonta and Brenda (Ray) of Springville.

In Lieu of flowers, he requests donations be made to BB&T account for his daughter Leah.
