She was predeceased by: her husband Buddy Howell; her parents, Lewis Higgins and Alberta Higgins; and her siblings, Raymond, Douglas Higgins and Evelyn Gilliland.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly H. Walters (Perry) and Rusty Howell (Colleen); her grandchildren, Natalie Hamilton (Taylor), Neal H. Walters (Rebecca) and Corey A. Howell; her great grandchildren, Windsor J. Hamilton, Wells R. Hamilton and Howell L. Walters; and her brother Louis Levon Higgins (Sandy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Anniston Memorial Funeral Home (3865 US-431, Anniston, AL 36206). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
