It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melissa McCarley of Anniston, Alabama, who passed away on November 10, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Melissa may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her brothers, Richard McCarley and Phillip McCarley. She is survived by: her daughter Megan Elizabeth McCarley; her siblings, Carolyn Driver (Gary) of Roanoke and George McCarley; and her parents, Earl Robertson and Elizabeth Almage Barnes McCarley.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lowell Methodist Church (325 N Handley Ave, Roanoke, AL 36274). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Quattlebaum Funeral Home to go toward final expenses.
