We are sad to announce that, on April 6, 2026, at the age of 100, Mozell Merritt (Anniston, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Mozell may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mozell touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her sons, Floyd Merritt (Lisa) and Henry B. Merritt, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Alexander, Zierre, Brianna and Tianna. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
