He was predeceased by: his parents, William Acker and Edna Acker. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his siblings, Cindy Acker (Robert), Tammy Powell (Frank), Steve Matthews and Todd Matthews (Sonya); and his siblings' children, Eric, Gage Matthews, Kenny, Josh Kirk, Robby Acker, Jeanie Johnson and Cary Lambert (Tidmus).
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Gray Brown-Service Mortuary (1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, AL 36201). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gray Brown Service Mortuary (1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, AL 36201). A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Anniston Memorial Gardens (4000 US-431, Anniston, AL 36206).
