He was predeceased by: his parents, Loomas Dickie and Julia Ritchie Dickie; his daughter Wendy Anne Newsome; and his wife Judy Dickie. He is survived by: the mother of his children Glenda Sawyer Dickie; his daughters, Sajuan Wilbanks, Andrea Sikes and Rhonda Merrill; his grandchildren, Lindsay Wilbanks, Rob Wilbanks (Carmen), Courtney James (Anthony), Brandon Thompson (Jessica), Kevin Thompson, Corbin Wade, Farah Young (E. J.) and Tiffany Tidwell (Bruce); and his brother Gene Dickie (Betty). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Anniston Memorial Gardens (4000 US-431, Anniston, AL 36206).
