She was predeceased by : her husband George Kauffman Sr.; her parents, Jesse Simmons and Lottie Simmons; her son William Kauffman; and her siblings, Jerry Simmons, Annie Whitley and Jenny Ruth Alexander.

She is survived by : her children, Patricia Coulter, Susan Farr and George Kauffman Jr. (Brenda); her daughter-in-law Teresa Kauffman; her siblings, Brenda Manning (David) and Newtie Simmons; her grandchildren, Pam Batey, Gina Lam (Young), Preston Kauffman (Barbie), Kristie Seale (Jon), Dr. Shawna Kauffman (Jeb), Shannon Owen (Chris) and Tyler Watts (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Joshua Harris, Daniel Harris, Charlie Klug (Katie), Presley Kauffman, Sophia Seale, Lauren Strength (Alex), Everett Duke, Reid Duke and Noah Owen; and her great great grandchild Alexander Strength. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
