We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2024, Shirley Sallas Thompson of Anniston, Alabama, born in Talladega, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Hugh Bernard Brown III; and her parents, Bettie Obert Taylor and Bill Sallas. She is survived by : her sons, Hugh Clark Brown, John Clay Caldwell (Tami) and Joshua Alton Caldwell (Leah); and her grandchildren, Caley, Abby, Maci, Weston, Noah and Daelynn Caldwell.

In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Thompson's family asks that donations be made in her memory to Anxiety and Depression Association of America at donate.adaa.org or 8701 Georgia Avenue, Suite 412, Silver Spring, MD 20910.
