He is survived by: his wife Lisa Delores Thornton; his sons, Thaddeus Orlando Ackey, Jr. and Steven Dewayne Ackey; his sister Kenover Jackson; his aunts and uncles, Opal Kirkland, Navis Penson, Roosevelt Ackey, Jesse Elder and Kenneth Ackey (Ann); and his sister-in-law Dianne Thornton.
