She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Beard, Tonya Williams (Derrick), Barry Prothro (Sheila) and Shervier Prothro; and her siblings, Minnie L. Bradford, Mary A. Anderson, Inell Perkins, Dollie Ridley, Leo Simon, Bobby Simon, Elbert Simon and Larry Simon. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Greater Calvary Baptist Church (1600 Constantine Ave, Anniston, AL 36201).
