She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Marvin Robert Higdon and Jesse Elizabeth Andrews Higdon; her husband Richard Lee Artz; her children, Tammi Lee Bozzell (Allen), Candy Lyn Dunn (Jimmy) and Eugene Marvin Artz (Treina Moore); her grandchildren, Thomas Jones (Tiffany), Natashia Bozzell, Brandon Bozzell (Jasmine), Hannah Bozzell and Carol Artz; and her great grandchildren, Dexter Houser, Jr. and Levi Wheat.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel (1340 N Main St, Arab, AL 35016). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
