She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. James Walden and Edna Walden; her sisters, Phyllis Siler and Sue Davis; her children, Pam, Katrina Mathews and R. C. Mathews; her grandson Jonathan "Big Jon" Spann; Jerome Walden.
She is survived by: her husband Garry Vaughan; her children, Jennifer Spann and Jayson Mathews; her stepdaughter Amanda Vaughan; and her sister Judy Landes. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great, grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
