She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Wright Mills and Mildred "Pauline" Parkerson Mills; her siblings, Wayne Mills and Shiela Walker; and her grandmother Ruby Neel.
She is survived by: her son Thomas Maddux; her grandsons, Dean and Ridge Maddux; and her sister Paula Lemons (Lynn). She is also survived by nephews and a niece.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel (1340 N Main St, Arab, AL 35016). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
