He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ernest Hudgins and Francis Lee Franklin Hudgins; his wife Judy Carol Hudgins; his stepmother Cora Lou Hudgins; and his sisters, Jean Forrester, Helen Elison, Ruth Edward and Ruby Durham.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sonya Bazzel and Sunda Powers (Paul); and his siblings, Billy John Hudgins, Marcell Walling (Clifford) and Shirley West. He is also survived by six grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
