She was predeceased by: her father Wilburn Johnson; her husband Rex Garrison; and her siblings, Ora Lee Morrow and Hubert Johnson. She is survived by: her mother Mamie Johnson; her daughter Rebbecca Suits (Dennis); and her grandchildren, Jeremy Yates (Bonnie), Amanda Lynn (George), Sheryl Bowen (Barry) and Beverly Lay (Jimmy). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson, nieces, nephews, cousins, her church family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel (1340 N Main St, Arab, AL 35016). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
