With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Naomi T. Vaughn of Arab, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Josie Sims Troup and William Guy Troup; her husband Harvey Vaughn; her son-in-law Jerry Motte; and her siblings, Lou Annie Frasier, Dean Fuell, Butch Troup, Carlton Troup and Henry Lee Troup.
She is survived by: her children, Marty Vaughn (Debbie) and Mona Motte; her grandchildren, Heather Mitchell (Mike), Josh Vaughn (Monica), Lindy Vaughn, Jeremy Motte (Sophie), Jacob Motte (Lori) and Nathan Motte (Krista); her brother Thomas Troup (Gail); and her grandsons, Eli Motte, Ethan Motte, Forrest Whitehead, Mike Mitchell and Blake Anders. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
