It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Diann Ashburn of Arab, Alabama, born in Madison, Alabama, who passed away on October 29, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Louis Baird and Buaron Elizabeth Elder Baird; and her siblings, Pete Baird and Lynn Winn. She is survived by : her husband Dale Ashburn; and her children, John Shirah, Jennifer Durham (Philip), Darlene Sheppard (Keith), LaChelle Collier and Barbara Pierce (Brett).
