He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard "Shep" Hughes Flack, Sr. and Lucy Ida Thomas Flack; his wife Barbara Flack; and his siblings, Harlan Flack, Rex Flack, Nada Ruth Flack, Judy Wray and Eloise East.

He is survived by : his son Marcus Flack (Missy); his sisters, Myrle Childers and Laura Eick (Paul); his grandchildren, Shawn Flack and Tyler Flack; and his brother-in-law W. D. Wray.
