He is survived by : his wife Clarice Townsend; his children, Teresa Wisner, Eric Townsend, Michael Maddox (Ranea) and Jennifer Navarro; his grandchildren, Heffrey Brown, LaShay Hulgan, Michael Maddox, Jr. (Reana), Jasmine Baldwin (Justin) and Nicole Maze; and his sisters, Debbie Wynn (Johnny), Linda Ledbetter, Donna Spinder and Judy Braswell. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
