He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Noah, Cora Barger, Robert and Georgiana Rice; and his parents, Frank Barger and Betty Barger.

He is survived by: his wife Judy; his son Frank Barger; his stepchildren, Stephanie Shaw and Brian West; and his sister Fran Bauer. He is also survived by 4 sisters in law; 3 brothers in law; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews & cousins.
