She was predeceased by: her parents, John Quarles, Jr. and Margaret Quarles. She is survived by: her husband Edmund "Ed" Chapman; her son Alex Chapman; and her sisters, Jenifer Quarles of Sacramento, CA and Karen Morrison of Lihue, Hawaii.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
