She was predeceased by: her mothers, Evie Otto Griggs and Edna Lee Burgett Griggs; and her siblings, Vera Burgett and William Thomas Griggs. She is survived by: her cousin Maxine Johnson (David Billups).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel (1340 N Main St, Arab, AL 35016). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family encourages donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
