He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Hudson and Erma Hudson; his wife Mary Sue Hudson; his son Michael Hudson (Mikey); and his brother Jimmy Hudson.

He is survived by : his sons, Greg Hudson (Cara) and Terry Hudson (Jana); his grandchildren, Andrew Hudson, Chandra, Hannah Hudson Cobbs, Matt, Matthew Hudson, Wil Hudson, Jordan Hudson, Ally, Caleb Hudson, Katie, Holli Pope, Dylan, Candice Griner and Jacob; his brother Roger Hudson (Donna); and also Manillia Hudson Moore. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
