He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert L. King and Mable Davis King; his wife Donnie Mae Bedwell; and his brothers, Lonnie King, David King, Ricky King and Lee King.

He is survived by : his siblings, James Calvin King (Pattsy), Roger King, Martha Thomas (Vernon), Kathy Nave (Deverl) and Renee Wales. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and many beloved friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home (27186 Main St, Ardmore, AL 35739). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Ardmore Veterans Group.
