He was predeceased by: his parents, Bee Barnes and Annette Barnes; his siblings, Richard (Petie), JW, Wayne Barnes and Martha Autrey; and his grandchildren, Brian and Christa.
He is survived by: his wife Joy; his children, Keith Barnes (Daphne) and Michelle Brady (Chris); his stepsons, Sean, Ian, Eric and Andy Barron; and his sisters, Jean Chandler, Anne Cross, Susie Moore, Connie Royster and Linda Blankenship.
