She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Jean and Patsy Jean; and her sister Joyce Ann Jean. She is survived by: her husband Steve Smart; her sons, Josh Jean and Jason Smart; her grandchildren, Skyler, Jackson, Hayden, Lily, Mathius, Demetrius and Orion; and her siblings, Linda Dumont and Jimmy Jean.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hazel Green Funeral Home (13921 US-231, Hazel Green, AL 35750). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
