She was predeceased by : her parents, Huston Bates and Alberta Bates (Flip). She is survived by : her husband Charles Cothren of Ardmore, AL; her daughter Sherie Prier (Jason) of Ardmore, TN; her siblings, Skip Bates of Ardmore, TN, Judy Elder (Mike) of Ardmore, TN and Polly Goats (Gary) of Pulaski, TN; and her grandchildren, Emma Prier and Ezra Prier.
