He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Heddy, Daniel Pitts, Ava Lynn and Ronald Haney; his great-grandparent Alvis Hastings; his uncles, Wallace Pitts and Harvey Pitts; and his aunt Ruth McGlocklin.
He is survived by: his parents, Gilbert Randell Lewter and Martha Pitts Lewter; his brother David Pitts (Kelly); his aunts and uncles, Dell Lewter, Mary Evelyn Roberts (Leon) and Wayne Pitts (Joanne); his nieces, Cheyenne Pitts-Harris (Jackie) and Kristina Pitts; and his great-nephews, Wyatt Pitts and Les Coffman.
