He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Columbus Schrimsher and Ouida Elizabeth Jennings Schrimsher; his wife Elaine Schrimsher; and his siblings, Lennie Schrimsher and Bettie Loggins.

He is survived by: his children, Greg Schrimsher (Wanda) and Lisa Williams (Kevin); his grandchildren, Keith, Morgan, Zac, Gavin and Gage; and his great grandchildren, Bo, Lexi, Walker, Adalee, Cason, Chance and Oakley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
